yeah, don't take it as a dig against any of the staff. All us players who are super hyped about DoN are just venting a bit of frustration over not being able to play RIGHT THIS VERY MINUTE! Take it for what it is: a bunch of hot air.

If you need to blame anyone for our collective frothing-at-the-mouth, blame the builders and people who wrote the teasers. It's their fault for making it all look so awesome!  ;D

In other words, we are discussing which particular shade of green we want to use for the last moss stone we placed. Half the staff is for the 'natural crag moss' shade, while the other half is in the 'deep green veldt' camp. Rest assured, when this epic debate is concluded we will indeed be finished and open the doors wide.

However, we also aim to continue the our high standards and quality when it comes to the modules we present, and the length of our beta testing is directly tied to this.

I take it that this mostly means ironing out the last bugs and making sure the complete, emergent experience is a smoothly operating crimi- thing. Smoothness I believe is very important, accepting that at the very core it is NWN2 and its long history of technical issues.

The last thing I presume the staff wants is to release a 90% finished module with a couple of immensively irritating or gamebreaking bugs - or not enough dungeons or something - and risk putting a pout on those players' lips who've waited so very long for it to finally arrive.

Looking at the screenshots and trusting the judgement of the Devs, I'm expecting the unexpected in terms of shock and awe value.

ON a side note.. wasn't A Dance with Dragons supposed to originally release in 2005? Only a few chapters left unwritten, says G.R.R Martin in Dec 2010.
